Are you not able to submit your income tax return to the Income Tax Department, here are the possible reasons of why the department is not accepting your return –
- Name as per income tax return does not match with the name in PAN Card – The name in your income tax return must be mentioned exactly as it is in the PAN otherwise your return may not be accepted by the department.
- The details of bank accounts held during the year does not match with the number of accounts reported – Please make sure the number of bank accounts held by you matches with the number of details of accounts mentioned.
- Incorrect PAN has been mentioned for claiming deduction under section 80G
